To recognize the contributions, promote the role and tradition of the Veterinary Industry, on July 12, 2005, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 664/QD-TTg on the traditional day of the Veterinary Industry, accordingly, the Prime Minister decided to take July 11 as the “Traditional Day of the Veterinary Industry”.
Throughout the 73-year history of formation and development, thanks to the leadership of the Party and the State, together with the efforts and solidarity of generations of leaders, civil servants, public employees, and workers, the Veterinary Industry nationwide has achieved many important achievements, enriching the tradition and enhancing the position of the industry.
Not only taking care of the health of livestock and aquatic animals, veterinarians play an active and important role in protecting public health and the ecological environment. Effectively controlling dangerous epidemics and diseases transmitted between animals and humans according to the “One Health” approach.
